WATERLOO ROAD CLIP ANALYSIS

at the beginning of the clip there is a 6 second moving pan shot to illustrate the environment around where the place is set.In this shot the environment is shown as disgusting, this suits what the characters are doing as their planning on taking drugs.





The graffiti on the walls demonstrate to the viewers that they are not doing something good or happy with an environment like that.

in this part of the scene, they demonstrated a close up shot between both of the characters. This is just to portray their expressions and to exhibit their feelings and emotions.








the facials expressions towards this characters shows that she is happy and doesn't think about any consequences that after. in comparison to the picture above this is also a close up shot of the character.







in this part of the scene a low angle shot is demonstrated to show that she is looking down on the girls, as she feels that they are doing something wrong and she is trying to explain that to the girls who brought drugs.  This can also be a POV shot as it portrays that she is directly talking to the girls and no one else.

 in this shot, this is a POV shot which demonstrates that the person they are talking to is higher above them , and more powerful. This is effective as it gives a pure understanding of the character talking from above.








In this part of the scene, an over - the - shoulder shot is used to show that she is directly talking to her and no one else.

A mid shot is used in this scene to show that they're having a group discussion about whos wrong and whos right in the their situation.









this is a close up shot of the girl who is right about not to bring drugs to the school. The camera done a close up shot to show that they are being dramatic, and she know longer wants to be friends with them because of their situation.
